Patient Service Representative - Family Medicine

  • Position Summary
    • Efficiently performs receptionist and general secretarial duties within a medical practice or hospital setting; promotes the smooth flow of work within the office while interacting well with patients, physicians and co-workers in order to provide quality and caring patient service.

  • Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
    • High school diploma, general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred
    • Experience in customer service preferred
    • Detail-oriented and able to complete projects independently
    • Excellent grammar, writing, decision-making and organizational skills are essential
    • Experience in office procedures preferably in the medical field



Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
