Guest Services Representative

Responsibilities:

  • Provides friendly and courteous service to all guests and staff
  • Provides accurate information about the resort and all products
  • Ensures the accurate balancing of cash drawer
  • Maintains a neat professional appearance at all times
  • Maintains a neat work area, including common areas
  • Answers inquiries in person and over the phone
  • Assists other departments when needed
  • Performs any additional tasks requested by supervisor

Qualifications

In order to perform this job successfully, candidates must be able to perform each essential duty listed satisfactorily. Patient, selfless, and empathetic communicators, who enjoy working with, and for the benefit of, others will thrive in this position. Guest Services Representatives should be friendly, levelheaded, good at following directions, and take pride in their work. Must be comfortable working with computers.

Must be available weekends and holidays. Prior experience in customer service strongly preferred.



Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
